What we do

Veritas Land is a strategic development company that specialises in maximising land value throughout the promotion, planning and development process.


Working collaboratively with landowners, planning authorities and key local stakeholders, we focus on the delivery of housing and mixed use developments across the South of England.

Land promotion

At no cost to our landowner partners, we can enter into either promotion agreements or option agreements tailored to each of our landowner’s needs. A Promotion Agreement is, effectively, a type of joint venture between the landowner and a developer, with the joint aim of maximising the value of the land to the benefit of both parties. In a Promotion Agreement we would seek to employ our professional knowledge, expertise and financial resources to obtain the best possible planning permission with a view to selling the land on the open market to the highest bidder, in return for a share of the final land value. 

Unlike an option agreement a promotion agreement ensures that both parties’ interests are aligned. We both want to achieve the highest land value and this can only be guaranteed by taking the site, with the benefit a planning permission, to the open market where we can realise the optimum ‘Open Market Value’. We as ‘land promoters’ are totally impartial as to who purchases the scheme. The process is completely transparent and the costs of ‘promoting’ the land, and so the risk, are borne by Veritas, There is no financial input from the land owner

Landowners can be involved in the process as little or as much as they prefer; with some landowners leaving the process entirely to us, whilst others take a more hands-on approach, either way our dedicated team has one objective – to achieve a planning win for you.

We believe that it is of utmost importance to engage and consult with all the local stakeholders to ensure that our proposed schemes deliver long term benefits for the local area, match the needs and wants of local residents and provide for a sustainable future for the next generations


We will prepare and adopt a comprehensive sales strategy relevant to your circumstances once planning is secured and take the site to the open market. There is nothing like competition to bring the best result!
